SPS/FBR Train Run/Potluck Picnic – Sunday, August 18

Join us on Sunday, August 18th for the third annual South Philly Striders/Fishtown Beer Runners trail run/potluck picnic starting at Valley Green Inn, in Wissahickon.  This trail run will be a fun run, with no bibs, no timing, no medals, no aid stations, etc.  Run, walk, skip, jump the approximately 4.5 mile trail.  Finish to a potluck picnic.  This event is also a way to celebrate ALL the August birthdays among us.  Injured or lazy and can’t run?  Come walk or bike.

What: Trail Run and Potluck Picnic
Date: Sunday, August 18th
Time: Meet at 9 am Trail run starts at 9:15 am
Where: Valley Green Inn, Wissahickon
How do I get there: Drive, bike, run
What if I need a ride: Post on Facebook that you need a ride.
What should I bring: Bring a favorite dish to share. Plates, utensils, napkins and water will be provided.

Independence Day Morning Run to Federal Donuts

What better way to celebrate the spirit of independence (and delicious donuts) than an early morning July 4th, Independence Day run ending up Federal Donuts (1219 S. 2nd St.).  The group run will leave at the usual place (Front and South) at 7AM and will finish at Federal Donuts  Late risers are welcome to just meet up at the finish. Bring cash.
