The Wednesday, March 25 Bridge Run will be a special fundraiser for Bookin’ for Lookin’. The Bookin’ for Lookin’ race, which takes place on April 19 at Council Rock High School in Newtown, supports an important cause: to raise awareness and funds to help cure blindness. The race supports two fantastic organizations: Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) and Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (BCABVI). Mark McCowan is a member of both Achilles and Fishtown Beer Runners.
As usual, we’ll run the bridge out and back, then we’ll head to 2nd Story Brewing Company (2nd Street and Chestnut Street) for a special happy hour fundraiser. Donate $5 for Bookin’ for Lookin’ and enjoy the brewpub’s select $4 beers for the evening. There will also have a race discount code for all participants. The fun starts at 6th and Race at 6:30 p.m. If you’re not feeling hilly, feel free to come straight to the bar at 7pm. Hope you can join us!
