It is just about that time of year again when the South Philly Striders and Fishtown Beer Runners run the streets of South Philly to enjoy the holiday lights before enjoying some food and drinks.  Everyone is encouraged to come out for this event.  Feel free to wear bells, lights, etc.  The light-filled route is mapped by South Philadelphia resident/celebrity Anthony LoCicero.

When:  Thursday December 15^th  at 7 pm

Starting location:  Broad and Oregon

Ending location:  Cantina Los Caballitos,1651 East Passyunk Avenue

Our friends, the Fishtown Beer Runners, have organized a run to Philadelphia Brewing Company (2439 Amber Street) for a tour and tasting on Saturday, November 5, at 10:30 a.m.  The run will start at Love Park/JFK Plaza at the LOVE Sculpture.  It’ll be about 4-6 miles to plan on arriving at PBC at 11:30 a.m.  The tour will be given by Fishtown Beer Runners founder (and part time South Philly Strider when he gets up early enough) David April.  You’ll be able to taste all the beers PBC has to offer.  

All are welcome to attend.  Just plan on showing up at Love Park by 10:30 a.m.
