Trail Run and Potluck Picnic – August 21

In conjunction with the Fishtown Beer Runners, we will take part in a trail run starting at Valley Green on August 21, at 9 a.m. This run will be a fun run: no bibs, no timing, no medals, no aid stations, etc. Run, walk, skip, jump one loop, two or ten on the trail.  Finish to a potluck picnic.

What: Trail Run and Potluck Picnic

Date:  Sunday, August 21st

Time:  Trail run starts at 9 am

Where:  Valley Green, Wissahickon Park.

How do I get there: Drive, bike, run.

What if I need a ride:  Post/email to let us know you want to come and we will try to coordinate a ride for you.

What should I bring: Bring a favorite dish to share.   Plates, utensils, napkins and water will be provided.

SPS July Social Event – July 20, 2011 Run & Happy Hour

The South Philly Striders July Social Event will take place on Wednesday, July 20, 2011.  It will be a short run over to Devil’s Den at 11th and Ellsworth, followed by drinks  and food.

Plan on meeting at the usual run spot of Front/South at 6:15 p.m. for the run.  For those wishing to show up directly at the bar, we should be there around 6:45 p.m.  Feel free to invite anyone.
